Hello Football Families:

Are you looking for a great cross training opportunity for your football playing son.  Lacrosse in your answer.

Lacrosse is an up-tempo, physical game where players can work on their quickness, strength, overall stamina and overall athleticism.  I know as a former pro athlete, I can tell you that the cross training between the two sports is unparalleled. I did it from 7th grade through graduation from high school.

Registration for Kingwood Youth Lacrosse is now open at www.kylax.net.  This year we will feature an in-house - no travel league for players in  K-1, 2-3, and 4-5.  That also works well for kids wanting to try lacrosse while not giving up on baseball.  The 6th, 7th, and 8th grade players will be in the city wide GHYLA league, playing games on Saturdays.

Not sure about playing, need a chance to try it first, great...come out our Free Lax Clinic on 1/22 from 2-4pm at Insperity Sports Complex.  Clinic will be taught by High School Coaching staff and Varsity team players.  It will be a great introduction to the sport.

Our league night will be on January 23 at Covenant Preparatory School.  More information is also located on the webpage with registration at www.kylax.net.

We'd love to have new and returning players come out.  Should you have any questions, please email me directly at kingwoodlacrossehc@gmail.com.

We hope to see many families playing both football and lacrosse.

Thanks
